I don't know who I feel more sorry for: Hakuba for liking someone who doesn't like him back, Kaito for having his best friend and the girl he loves taking pot shots at him, or Aoko for finding out her best friend is someone she hates.

Right now, I'm leaning towards Hakuba in pt 4, but he's the easiest for us to plot in this fic. ^^;; Still trying to figure out what Aoko's doing and Kaito's not being much of a help other than panicking lots.

there needs to be more and soon because i can't deal with this cliffhangeriness. i'm finding this is one of my favorites of your stories, because not only is it kind of b&w [seriously my otp], but also because you include so much fun mythology and my inner classics dork can't help but dance about.

must say that i'm kind of sad about the whole unrequited thing. i think hakuba [your hakuba, in any case] has become my absolute favorite. i dearly love him and wish only happiness for him, so this whole kaito/kid liking-him-but-not-quite thing has me all tied up. i want to be mad, but i do adore kaito as well, so...you're making things hard for me. *glares*

anyhow, can't wait to see the next update and how aoko [and everyone else] deals with her 'omg it's kaito!' revelation. and if she'll then realize that he was talking about her and what that'll mean for my poor darling hakuba. so, yesh. update!
