Freedom on two wheels
I just bought a bicycle. This is a big deal... it's a thing we've been talking about for months, but haven't had the money to do. It means (eventually once I'm used to riding again) I can get to work on my own. Dinner with parents
John and I went to OOB last night to have dinner with my parents. We hadn't seen them since early March and since we live 20 minutes away figured it was probably time, yes? I need to write or I’ll sleep, and I’m not allowed to sleep. It wasn’t so bad yesterday, but the sleep I got last night seems not to have been enough. I’m having a hard time typing correctly, and an even harder time keeping my eyes open. I keep blanking out in the middle of writing this. With the sun
I was up at 6:10 this morning. John starts a new job today (yay!) and so we have to get up earlier. As a result, I got up at 6:10, when he went into the shower. I dressed, and fed the cat, got lunch together and made cereal. I went online and talked to two Brit friends I sometimes have a hard time connecting with due to time zone fun ( Read more... ) -
