Arthur Golden really irritates me. He's not an expert on Geisha and yet he continues to speak as if he were a world authority, it's like Stephen King giving a discussion on the paranormal or Thomas Harris giving a lecture on serial killer psychology.

I'll be intrigued to see what the movie conversion of Memoirs of a Geisha will be like... I can't

What are you using for colours at the moment?
And, is there anywhere in brisbane that sells Punky Colours, this fudge purple gives me the shits [and crap hair]

I use a light red permanent dye; the new Herbal Essences for preference ... gives a really vibrant natural red, alternatively the Decore Real Red, though this is often hard to track down. Black streaks are whatever black permanent Mason gets to use on himself, though he tends to buy the Clairol one too now (goooooood dyes!). Cover the light red with Fudge Raspberry Beret to get the vibrant red.

It takes about 4-6 (Phantasm I hadn't dyed my hair in 5 weeks if that's an idea) weeks to fade noticeably which isn't bad for fudge, but you do run the never ending race to stop your bathroom from being bright pink every time you get your hair wet.

I loved the Raspberry Beret when I was using it, but for some reason the purple just will not take... fucking me off utterly.

I re-dyed it just before Phantasm and it came out the most bizarre shades of a few colours, none of which are really purple.

*hunts down punky colours*

As for the bathroom, I go through far too mould killer keeping it the same colour it was when I moved in....heh.

Your hair looks good, I can't think of anything more to do with it, unless you want the anime anti-gravity fringe or something.

Oh yeah ... that's right... I knew I forgot to say something.

You can get Punky Colour (in some shades at any rate) at the hair dresser/supply place at the bottom of the Myer Center, opposite Antine Shoes. No idea what it's called right now. Walk inside the entrance with the Copenhagen Ice Cream place on the side and walk down the ramp, the shop is to your right.

Also Price Attack stores sometimes stock it, and they have stores at Indooroopilly, Toowong, etc etc but I don't think they have a store in town anymore.
