[meme] OOC/Permissions/Concrit
Watch me be organised for once in my life! This post, which will remain at the top of my journal, contains all my OOC notes for Fllay. hawkofendymion's is available here.
If you want to ask a question, offer up some concrit, throw forward plot ideas, or address anything at all, feel free to comment to this post. All comments are screened and I have IP logging turned off.

OOC NOTES
Me: I am Jen and also jdiam but mainly Fllay to you guys because that's the nick I use 99% of the time on IRC.
I also play: Mwu (hawkofendymion)
Available on: It's easiest to reach me on IRC or through e-mail (not.a.mermaid@gmail.com) but I also have screened posts in Fllay's, Mwu's, and my personal journal if you want to go the LJ route. Anonymous commenting is enabled and IP logging disabled on all three.
Timezone/Language: EST and English.
The playing experience: I don't play as often as I used to but I love being jumped and I always try to throw my characters into play when asked. I'm not the best at huge group events though and tend to flake out of them. Sorry. XD;;
I'm notoriously bad at continuing threads after long periods and can't recall a time when I actually did so, even with threads I've absolutely adored. Always feel free to poke me if I've dropped a thread with you, if I don't notice a comment you've made (I don't use comment notifications if I'm running a post or if I'm threading with multiple people), or if you want to continue a thread that had to be dropped. I'll always agree ... unless it's late and I need sleep, then I'll agree later.
On a final note I am pretty willing to play through just about anything but I really, really, really appreciate being contacted first if you want to play through something that will involve either of my characters. Chances are very good that I'll agree to whatever you've planned; I just need to like to be able to talk these things through.
Goals: I am so not a goal person. XD In general I'd like to bring my characters out more and have them interact with more people. So jump me.
Betaing: I've not betaed much myself but I'm always willing, and not just for canons I know/am familiar with. Usually my comments are geared towards coherence and reliance though, as I fail at critting funny.

AUs: Depends. I won't say no because I've never really considered it before but I won't say yes either. Depends.
Pimping: Others are better at pimping than I am (and the idea of upping 100 episodes scares me) but I can try! I can also link you to a shitload of scans (including Chinese version of The Edge) but ... I'm not sure how much good those'd do. XD
Other: Fllay and Mwu's player is shier than she appears. XD If we've talked about doing something, I won't approach you. Please, please don't think this means I don't want to play something through with you because that's completely and entirely untrue. I am just retarded like that. This should probably have gone in "The Playing Experience" but to hell with that ... it was long enough already. XD
Seriously though, I want to stress that I welcome people to poke me or jump me or plot with me at any time.
1. Re concrit and OOC concerns:
I am a whore for concrit and nothing short of you ripping into everything I've ever done ever in the most vicious of manners has much of a chance of hurting, offending, or bothering me. When I remember, I do pop up a thread over at cfud_concrit but that's also the point of this post. As a general note, I would prefer to deal with heavier concrit privately for no other reason than I embarass really, really easily.
2. Contact methods:
My e-mail address is not.a.mermaid@gmail.com and if I'm online and commenting then I have it open and will get your mail within moments. Otherwise I check it three times a day, so it's not hard to catch me.
If I'm online and not on hiatus, I'm on IRC and y'all can feel free to ping me or PM me for anything.
I don't use IM programs. XD
3. Time and other scheduling issues:
I'm another ESTer and I try to adhere to a certain sleep schedule during the week so I'm generally unavailable for anything after 10PM. I am, however, willing to screw said schedule if there's something awesome planned - just hit me up beforehand (time doesn't really matter so long as I have enough of it to take a nap XD) and I'll refrain from crashing early.
But more often than not, I'm available from 4:00ish-10ish Monday - Thursday, all day Friday, and weekend evenings.
4. Cliques, thread dropping, etc.:
I don't believe Fllay is cliquey but I could be wrong. I try to play her off everyone because I love the variety of reactions she recieves. I will play Fllay off of anyone, seriously; even if she doesn't get along with your character or if she, for all intents and purposes, should be avoiding them I WILL STILL PLAY HER OFF THEM. It's fun for me, IC for her.
With Fllay, I tend to keep threads going until I've killed them. XD If I do deliberately drop a thread, it's because I ran out of things to say with her or because I can't figure out how to have her react. Otherwise chances are that I prematurely cleared your comment notification or somehow convinced myself that I had responded. Regardless of the reason behind it, if I ever drop a thread with you that you want to continue, poke me and I'd be more than happy to oblige.
I'm very bad at picking up threads after a delay of a few hours. If there's something you'd like to continue, please inform me of this! As quite a few people can attest, I always regret having to end threads without resolution.
5. Comfort levels (personal):
Despite how I might come off in voting posts, it's pretty hard to make me feel uncomfortable. Excessive swearing tends to annoy me moreso than anything else and as long as sex isn't discussed with an aggressive tone, I don't care what y'all say. XD

Seriously. If anything I do bothers you, ICly or OOCly, please bring it up to me. I'll be more than willing to listen and to fix whatever the problem is.

7. Locking and serious stuff IC:
Fllay doesn't really lock threads; she keeps things she wants to remain secret secret. To everyone. If she were to have a locked thread and you wanted your character to discuss its contents with people who aren't Fllay, I'd probably be open to it. Just PLEASE contact me first.

Hair: Red.
Medical Info: Natural and died in fire?
Cooking: Basics.
Physical traits: Nothing notable for an anime girl.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: Anything - if I don't want to play through Fllay emo I can just have her storm off and let her do it off-screen. Never worry about bringing up certain topics with Fllay, seriously - just be aware that she'd rather run, hide, or insult than discuss some things.
Notes for the Psychics: Fllay went a little mad after her father died. She also keeps a lot bottled up so it's possible she's doing a lot of mulling. A few fantasies in regards to some of her least favourite people might crop up but I'd say that most of the time she's thinking about a few things at once so her thoughts would be somewhat muddled. They wouldn't be entirely negative though; she likes to think of make-up and fashion and her home and her friends, too.
Abilities: She can do some computery things but not many. Can also yell a really, really long time without losing her voice. Probably.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Feel free.
Kissing/Hugging: Also feel free? She's rather physical herself (which you wouldn't notice because I don't ever play that part of her. XD) so I don't think she'd mind. Unless she doesn't like the kisser/hugger, then? Rage.
Fighting: Yeah, Fllay can't fight. Fllay might try to contribute if there's something big happening and she thinks she can, but would only fire a gun if she absolutely saw no other course. She didn't succeed at physically hurting anyone in SEED for a reason, and I'm not interested in trampling on that at camp without a cause.
Maim/Murder/Death: No to the last two, unless it's something funny. Catch me on IRC or through e-mail if you want to otherwise hurt her and we'll see; there are a couple people I'd have to speak with first.
