I don't see what all these people on message boards are saying--everybody else knows what's what, and they know that I'm the right guy for the job of coaching the Carolina Hurricanes.

To say that I'm not pleased about last night is an understatement. But it's preseason, so I'm not going to complain too loudly. We'll simply have to be more prepared for the Thrashers tonight.

I apologize for not being more diligent with this journal--it's been a really intense training camp, and I haven't had a lot of time for this.
