Harry's world and Owen Cauldwell belong to JKR. Rebekah and the rest of her family are mine.

I never knew. Never. Of course, looking back - well, it’s obvious! All the strange little things… But nothing overly dramatic, just like Rebekah.
I’m sure she’ll do well. It’s in her blood, as surely as it’s in mine, and maybe more besides. Perhaps it’s just my little fancy, but to my way of thinking it’s had time to brew. She’ll be a credit to our family. Anyone could see that. Now that she knows, her eyes have taken on an even brighter light and her tiny spark of confidence is starting to shine out.
She’s always been a quiet, studious girl. She’s kind and well-liked, but she only has one close friend. It will break her heart to leave her. Eleanor, her name is. Sweet girl. A little frivolous, but hard-working and the perfect friend for Rebekah. She’ll take it hard. She and Rebekah were going to go to a very good school, but the only people they knew who were going there were each other. They’ll soon make new friends, but what are new friends compared to those you’ve known since nursery?
Still, this has to happen. Muggle-borns the world over face this with their own friends.
Rebekah belongs in our world.
