I want to make an icon with animated side-scrolling text similar to this example by lady_rinehart:

hmmm, I don't know about cs3 but... did you try changing it re-writing this way:
frame 1: omgomG
frame 2: mgomGo
frame 3: gomGom
frame 4: omGomg
and on and on...(I can't explain it better ^^U)
maybe if you write it that way with the text selection square in the same spot in all the frames you can get the effect... it's just an idea :P I would try it but it's exams period here u_u
