That was wonderful! I like getting a look inside Gwen's head because the woman irritates and fascinates me in the same breath. I love reading other people's take on how she thinks, and why she does the sometimes incomprehensible things she does. :) You did a fantastic job of this, and of making it an even and fair piece. Congrats on your first Gwen-centric fic... I only hope I do as good a job when it's my turn to pop my Gwen cherry.

Gwen is one of those characters that I tend to like better in fanfic, because when I watch the actual episodes she usually pisses me off. I'm glad it didn't come across as overly biased against her, because I think Gwen has the potential to be an awesome character. (and she tapped into that awesome in CoE except I refuse to watch that again.) Thanks

This was really well done, I can see Gwen thinking like this...explaining everything away as okay. Great job!

Thanks. Gwen was hard to write, because she makes me want to reach into the screen and shake her sometimes. I really think that she feels guilty about the Owen-affair but not about her infatuation with Jack (partially because nothing ever came out of it).

Oh see, that's how I feel too. I think she did feel guilty about Owen...but not about Jack.

It's that fic! The one where you totally went about Gwen being a slut. You did a marvelous job by the by. I loved how you explained it, especially about Rhys being love and not just lust. That makes me happy inside because I love Rhys. He's amazing. Gwen doesn't deserve him.

I'm stopping there before I go into a sort of rant about her.

I liked this version of her though. I do believe you did a good job. And the Janto at the end made me happy. Yay!

*I saw this last night but didn't read it then because I was so so tired and was having an allergy attack that my medicine wasn't helping so the medicine made me even more drowsy and I knew I couldn't read and retain the fic. So I read it this morn.

haha nooooo... Gwen's not a slut. (I may have called her one before, but I don't think she is. A cheater, yes, but not a slut) I think she really does love Rhys, really and truly, but that she's so infatuated with Jack, or the idea of Jack as the perfect prince, that if Jack asked she would drop Rhys in a second. (Rhys IS awesome, and I think he really loves Gwen back or he wouldn't put up with the stuff she does ( ... )

I don't really think she's a slut either. Unless I'm in the middle of a rant about her, mind. But generally I'm not in a rant about her and then she's just Gwen.

I do agree that Gwen doesn't see Jack and Ianto's relationship more than sex (I love fics where she sees that it is indeed more). Ooh, the Jack piece sounds awesome. I also think (it's clear actually) that something happens in Jack's mind there.

I spill my secrets to you too!

I hate allergy attacks and with my growing list of allergies it's no fun.

My Gwen-hate-meter fluctuates depending on what I'm doing in the Torchwood fandom. If I'm watching actual episodes it tends to fall more to dislike side ('cept for Meat and Day 4/5 in which I hate her). Enough fanfics are written really well and make me like her, which is actually really depressing when I watch actual eps again, unless I'm slumming it over at the AGA, which tends to make me really dislike her also.

I am very upset that it's not the sin of the week that I have plotted out for Jack (I have decided who's going to be what sin, and everything. I am not looking forward to doing Owen, only because I'm not sure of the plot yet, so I'm glad he's not this week either)

I also love it when Gwen gets hit in the face by the clue-by-four XD

Oh, this was wonderful! I like that you can describe Gwen behaving badly without necessarily bashing. This feels very real.

Thank you. I was trying to make it so that the only parts where you really didn't side with Gwen were the Jack-related parts, but that while you understand her, you still didn't elevate her up to the position of do-no-wrong that the show writers do. I'm glad I accomplished that :)

I liked this. I think you captured Gwen's inner conflict well. I do believe she really and truly loves Rhys, still it's so hard to see her lusting over Jack and Owen. I makes me so mad to think about how she's treating Rhys without him even knowing about it.

Thank you. I also think that Gwen really loves Rhys (and vice versa), and that's why they're still together, but she's still infatuated with Jack. She definitely feels guilty about the Owen-affair, but doesn't feel guilty about whatever she has with Jack (partially because nothing physical has ever come out of it)
In the completely hypothetical, I think that if Jack ever offered, Gwen would, unfortunately, take him up on it, based on how she acts in the show. (it is, however completely hypothetical because in my mind Jack would never ask, especially now that she's pregnant WHAT? CoE? WHAT'S THAT!?) which kind of depresses me.
