Got finished half-reading a blog post about armor customization for followers in the Dragon Age 'verse. It was half-read because I was flailing around like the geeky little fangirl I am about possible DA3 news.

Just got back from getting groceries for tomorrow's lunch/dinner. Ze menu:

Smoked turkey and Gryure puff pastry pinwheels
Spiral sliced ham with a honey & apple cider glaze
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Steamed squash
Deviled Eggs
Homemade bread
Rum cake

The apple cider glaze only calls for 1/2 cup of cider, but darn, they only sell Woodchuck Cider ( Read more... )

I told myself that I couldn't turn on my TV until I finished cleaning my apartment. The maintenance people are coming either tomorrow or the next day to do their thing (air filters, check the fire alarms, etc.) and I didn't want them thinking that I was a slob that loved to wallow in her own filth and let dust bunnies have free roaming access ( Read more... )

My copy of DA 2 came in the mail last Tuesday. Unfortunately, I still wasn't finished with my playthrough of Origins and I hadn't started Awakening yet either, so the Amazon package sat on my kitchen table unopened until late Friday night.
