Went to see R.E.M. last night, a great concert. Good mix of old and new songs, but their last album was well represented. Growing up where I did with one TV station and one radio station, I wasn't exactly overexposed to indie or alternative music. Thus my first encounter with R.E.M. is as late as Loosing My Religion in '91, but they soon became one ( Read more... ) -

Boston next week
Somehow I've managed to catch a cold, and for the first time in I don't know how long I've called in sick.
So while laying here on my coach I though I'd bring up Boston. I'll be coming to Boston on Thursday next week, and leave for Denver on Tuesday. So if anyone in or around Boston wants to meet up some time during the weekend, let me know. -

London in the Easter
Today I got a confirmation e-mail for my ticket for Spurs vs. Portsmouth, so now my plans for Easter is more or less settled. It's going to be Easter in London - again. Amy Winehouse had to cancel her concert at a Norwegian music festival on Wednesday after being hospitalized due to an OD exhaustion. At least the audience didn't miss anything important.
