niamhotoole's request for me spaming at LJ, I thought this would be a good reason. Viking just defeated Stabæk 2:1 in Stavanger to the great joy of all the Brann supporters traveling to Stavanger to see the match. SK Brann is now officially the league champions of 2007!
A few weeks ago, the mayor promised to show all Brann's matches on a big screen in the centre of the city until the gold was secured. As tonight's match didn't involve Brann, there was no big screen, but a local newspaper were kind enough to put up a 'small screen' for any passerby's to enjoy. The first to happen by (according to the paper) was the aforementioned mayor.
