I see that other people have been commenting on Nicco.

I actually REALLY like all these characters. They are so...real in a fictional sense. Neither Nicco nor Brooke are in ideal situations, but both know they have to do what they have to do to survive.

That is why I love it so much!!

Between you two and bsg_aussiegirl's co authoring....I'm going to die a happy fangirl!! Haha!

I have a huge amount of emotions running through me after this chapter.

I would have never expected Nicco to be that honest or deep with Brooke, but he it seems, like everyone else, was someone else before the attacks. He sees more than any of us thought.

I love how Bill is present in this chapter like Laura has been present in the previous chapters.

I want Bill to want to rescue Brooke, I want Brooke to be happy, I want to believe that Bill knows what he is doing...but knowing our beloved Admiral so how I doubt it.

Oh the entire thing makes me sad - the situation, the fact that everyone is pretending, that there is very little hope. I want Bill to come back and hold Brooke.

All this of course means that the writing is beautiful. And we certainly got another interesting clue about Brooke's past. I thought she might have been a model but that doesn't seem to be it.

Ok, I've been kind of ambivalent toward Nicco up until now, but in this chapter I like him... It's the little detail of his past (because I love that just once, everything's not a joke), and the fact that even though his default may be smart-ass, he really does care for Brooke. I like her, damn it, and she's barking up the wrong bloke, and she's already getting hurt by it. I want her to have someone to pick up the pieces. (((Brooke)))

Yay that you llike Nicco. Both T and I have a soft spot for the poor Adama whore. He's a good guy and he does care for Brooke. They've really become a strange family unit since the attacks.

And, yes, she's definitely barking up the wrong bloke. But who hasn't done that?
