( What Mac hated was getting called out in the middle of the night. When she'd just gotten ready to actually sleep and then getting called for something. So when Ethan pulled her up on the comms and told her she was needed at the Medical Center, she had thought it was a case of one of the floors losing power, or the heat going, or something stupid like that. )

What: A successful mission with a shitty exit plan, needs some fixing.

( Standing in front of the everyone, shoulders slumped, Wade really can't be bothered with the farce that this is. Everyone is sitting around, some of them still on the tin foil from early when the whole mess half ended up wrapped in the stuff -and that had taken ages! Didn't these people appreciate the effort he put into these things? )

( Without a doubt, Elisabeth enjoyed the weekly battle of wills, even before that was what it became. It started out as a simple case of two combatants getting a work out. The burn of muscles afterwards was enough gratification to begin with. But somewhere along the line things changed. )

( Every muscle in St John's arms protested at the strain of opening yet another ten tonne weight door, even with Jack helping, they only got so much space between their cuffed hands before they needed to use just the one arm and Pyro was seriously going to kick whoever planned this mission. Repeatedly. )
