Summary: When Jared Padalecki returns home from college he learns that his father has decided to marry him off to the daughter of his fiercest competitor. All that to save the company and protect the family.
Although being gay, Jared agrees to his father’s plans. The severity of his decision sinks in, when he meets his lawyer, Jensen Ackles. The two are forced to work closely together to set up the pre-nuptials and go through negotiations. After a rather uncomfortable start of their business relationship, they start becoming something like friends. They grow even closer over the next weeks and months due to countless hours spent together.
It doesn’t take long for them to develop feelings for each other, but with the pending marriage always present in the back of their minds, they hold back, until one night at the Padalecki residence. That’s the turning point in their relationship, but for the negotiations as well. Misunderstandings happen, suspicion arises and Jared and Jensen have to fight for what they want.
