I spent my morning sewing up this bag, to see how easily this style would go together. It pulled together quickly, and I'm pretty happy with the results. However, in order to more easily add pockets, etc., to the inside, I'm going to have to come up with some other plan besides quilting the three layers together - maybe just doing two layers and

In my quilted bag, the lining is quilted on, and then the pockets are handsewn in to the lining. It makes it VERY sturdy. There's also a base panel over hardboard.
