I think I forgot to mention that at the last swim meet, both kids brought home a 3rd place ribbon for their age group in Freestyle.  Go kiddos!  Molly also got two medals at camp today.  I guess they had their own version of the Olympics, and she won a race and something to do with soccer, or kicking the ball ( Read more... )

1. It's all fun and games until someone takes an eye out. While sewing last night, I managed to hit one of the hard parts of a zipper, breaking the needle, which flung part of itself in my direction, barely missing an eye. Ouch. Must be more careful about that ( Read more... )

I spent my morning sewing up this bag, to see how easily this style would go together. It pulled together quickly, and I'm pretty happy with the results.
