This was probably the most special Thanksgiving we've had since, well, I was born. Someone--my mom, maybe my grandma--asked as we were sitting down to eat, what are we thankful for? As for the immersion blender, tomato sauce isn't the only the thing on which you can use it. If you're making bean soup, puree some of the beans, and use the puree to thicken the soup.
