[Infirmary filter]

We appear to have... significant problems of security, in that our faceless visitors are now corporeal and appear to be trying to clean up. I think the theory of previous staff members is correct. I've tried to get them to leave, to no avail, and am now going to get them to leave through threat of force. I would prefer if we ( Read more... )

I will come to provide security.

I would also recommend that we begin to disperse equipment and find safe accomodation for coma patients immediately, rather than wait. We have no reason to believe that this situation will not continue to escalate, as it has throughout the month. Better to do something while it is possible but needless, than wait for it to become difficult but necessary.

Much appreciated.

I think the only reason to wait would be so that we could prepare our alternative locations, and acquire some potential security. So I agree, and I think the sooner we can get something set up, the better. If you, or anyone else, are willing to assist in moving things, I would appreciate it.

I will help with whatever is needed. I may be an old man but I still have a strong back.

We should also take stock of whatever magic users have not been...indisposed, including the less malevolent Inmates. Whatever resources we have, we should use.

That makes two of us, at least. Are the kitchens... secure, by the way?

Good idea. I imagine many of them would wish to prioritise fixing the current situation, but any help they can offer is worth it.

Sounds fine. What about the people stuck in the CES?

I believe there are plans to try and get them out. We have to be prepared to provide treatment as soon as we can. I have more idea how to organise an infirmary elsewhere than how to get people out of there.

It's definitely a concern, but it is being worked on.

I meant we should send someone [LOL ME :|] in. I seriously doubt they've got medical supplies.

If we can get in, surely we should just let them out.

If you want to attempt it, it is a good idea, but don't get yourself stuck.

[HMMM weighing the pros and cons here. He could side with Flagg, who he's now certain was the "helping hand" he'd received all month and risk having his plans outed when the Admiral inevitably returns... Or he could side with the wardens and get outed if Flagg's feeling vindictive.

Oh well, he'd rather be on the winning side.]

I'll help you, Doctor Caesares.

Thank you, Dr Lewis. Meet me... fifth floor common room in five minutes? We're moving a few things at the minute.

Good. As do I, bring everything you have and we'll do what we can.

[Strained voice]

I've got a firearm and ought be in the infirmary anyway. Some security experience.

[This okay? Don't have energy for endgame but don't want to risk the inevitable 'you're a fail warden you didn't do anything' attacks afterwards. So infirmary security duty for this guy?]

Any help is appreciated, but please do not put yourself at any undue risk. How badly are you hurt? Have you received medical attention already?

[absolutely a-okay. That was the idea. :D]

It's not real pain. More of the phantom stuff. I'm still capable.

No. No I...

[Hoffman's mouth is dry.] Yes. Just...

Where? are you moving to? I understand I can't get into the dining hall.

We're moving in smaller groups to the rooms of any doctors available, taking security and some of the support staff each. Then it's more difficult to coordinate an attack on us, as we'll be in different places.

You can come to my room on the fifth floor, or I can come to you.
