I've been getting back into the Potterverse again too. I really love how the books & movies have grown up as well. Looking forward to Pt2!

I'm looking forward to it, but at the same time I'm sad because that means both the books AND movies will be done with!

Yeah, but I'll do what I do with LOTR. The videos will live forever, & I follow the actors to other projects.

Omg I love Sponge Bob too! Even my college professor loves it hahaha. Seems like S.B. is universally loved. I am kinda sad, though, that the newer episodes are more "kid friendly"...you know what I mean? The older ones dealt with stuff both adults/teens AND kids could relate to...like the episode where sponge bob has to get his boating license and keeps failing hahaha. Now they're sorta dumbing it down a bit. I think I remember reading either a friend's post about this or maybe it was somewhere online. Either way...yeah. Haha and I totally watched Ren and Stimpy as a kid too but I was probably like 5-10 when it came on so I didn't really "get" it...but I totally feel ya on the "extreme" closeups of the characters whee they show all the stubble/pores and other random crap haha.

That makes me sad that they would dumb it down. However, I did see one recently that was really really trippy. SpongeBob hid Squidward's clarinet in a safe and the safe kept getting progressively larger inside and like a whole big confusing world. Do you remember Stimpy's Magic Nose Goblins?

<3's on the Potter love! One of the reasons I keep coming back to fantasy, and which I always find in the best fantasy novels, is that it helps me look at the world with a fresh sort of wonder. The Potterverse definitely does that!

I totally agree with you! Doctor Who does that for me-- it makes me look at the world with a curious sense of wonder.
