Lord Jabu-Jabu... he was the patron god of the Zora, back in Hyrule. These animals look a lot like him.

He was.... enormous, though. [So enormous Link had to trek through him and kill the parasite in his gut, but let's not get into that maybe.

The Zora are a race of people in Hyrule. They live in the river and at the lake. At the mouth of the river, there's a very large, um... beast, that they call their god.
