He does have faint spots, not that they show in this photo. And he's also around 10 lbs right now, in spite of being about 2 weeks from 7 months old. ( The Doom that Came to Our Bed )
He is going to be gigantic. I almost mentioned his size when I stopped to get his Lysine treats at the vet, but the conversation was more about Hubero and his recovery from fang removal. His face got very swollen the day after we brought him home, but the swelling went down by the next morning. Vet said the pocket behind the tooth was quite deep, and was probably why all the swelling. Not surprisingly, he's been more chipper than he has been in months.
I've had a few cats close to 20 pounds, (they can be quite impressive felines!). I'm sorry to hear about Hubero's fang problems. All our present cats were abandoned ferals that have had countless health issues, and most of them (they're around 12 years old) have lost most they're teeth. I've never encountered this with other cats, but I believe inbreeding, and the fact that they're lifespan in the wild would only be 4 or 5 years are probably major factors.

We hope he stops at 12 or 14 lbs... Hubero is only 10 1/2 lbs.
