Not the sharpest quality, as I took photos of the sketches with my mobile's camera, but I was really pleased with all three of these; not because they're technically the greatest, but because they captured very well the characters themselves.  I find it very hard to evoke characters as I see them in my head, so this recent evening of drawing is one

I like that Draugluin particularly, he has a great sense of being just about to bound off snarling about him.

LOL at everyone in Valinor being drunk. I wonder if the Light of the Two Trees was good for hangovers...

It must've been, because I don't recall having mentioned that, haha. It actually started with Everyone On Almaren Is Drunk, and it was all downhill from there..

Yes, somehow I can see the continually drunk elves thing happening. It would sure explain some of their behaviour...

Yeah if their 'tra-la-la-lally'ing in The Hobbit is any indication--as well as the drunkenness of Thranduil's folk when Bilbo & company escaped--Elves really enjoy their booze.
Though in my 'verse, they'd have picked that up from the AInur in Valinor. Pretty much all my Ainur are drunkards at one point or other. I don't know what's the matter with me. =D
