We went to Busselton immediately after the con for a few days so my memory of specifics is already fading. Anyway, I enjoyed this year a lot more than the previous couple of years. Crafting sunday 30th Dec
All welcome, bring bathers and craft from 2pm...
There was a bit of crafting sunday hiatus - I did a mountain of craft for the wedding (eg it took 30 meters of ribbon to cut into short lengths to make the bonbonieri). For a while there the mere thought of craft made me slightly nauseous, but this has passed, yay! -
house fire
There was a house fire just a few doors down the hill from us this evening. I looked out the window and saw a deciduous tree on fire. I went down to check all was ok - I thought maybe some kids had lit it and I was going to see if anyone was home at the house to put it out. So far they are all still going. I read up on the various diseases that kill chicks, and their symptoms. The common denominator seems to be 'a depressed affect'. Hmmm...poor eye contact? J has been corresponding by snail mail with a school friend, so that they can learn about addressing envelopes, where the stamp goes, that sort of thing. Today we did a home made post card.
