*Squeee*

He feels a part of the community and Seamus basks in that, absorbs it to ease the pain of loss and loneliness.

What a lovely line about Seamus, and the bits about cutting his ties with a knife's edge, I loved it.

As he heads to bed and a book, he calls out, "Good night, Dean. See you in the morning." I wondered if that's who he was talking to or not. I so like that.

How different Neville sees the land when he arrives cracked me up.

There's no answer but that doesn't deter Neville. If he can deal with recalcitrant First Years trying to get out of doing their homework, he can deal with one Seamus Finnigan.

So much ♥ for Nev.

And now I want to know what the heck happened to make Seamus so mad. OH. So much anger in poor Seamus.

"Just because you're missing Dean is no reason to kiss me," Neville responded.

Oh, what a line right there, with Dean still alive and all.

Sodding stupid Neville for not even casting a drying charm or something as he stood in the rain waiting for Seamus to open the door.LOL about Neville ( ... )

First, GOD, I'm so relieved that you enjoyed this. I really tried desperately to do Kingsley for you but, to be honest, the Kingsley/Gideon that you write with westwardlee impressed me so much that I was beyond intimidated to write him ( ... )

Kingsley/Gideon are our babies and primary ship in a lot of ways, Lee and I thank you for the compliment.

I love rare-pairs in general, and I really love minor characters. You absolutely brought them to life in this and it was such a joy to read.

I wondered about the windchimes, thank you for clarifying that. :)

It's something that I find unbearably romantic even in the cheesiest soppiest movies.
Very true, but it's sooo great.

Thank you again!

Oh. My. God!

Mystery Author - *sobs-hugs-appluads-hugs more* seriously.

I mean - just - it's - it's fecking perfect.

I knew, maybe it's just me being in tune with my inner Seamus/Dean but when Seamus said "Good night, Dean. See you in the morning." - I knew and it killed me to know this but I read on because I had to know for sure. Seamus returning to his land, to the land, forgoing his magic and still carrying on those conversations like he was still there.

That Neville hasn't grown out of his klutziness and is still a bit unsure but is growing in stature and confidence.

That moment, between them... I could kiss him so easily right now - I love that Nev thinks it but Seamus does it - Seamus was always a doer not a thinker and that's sort of why he is where he is because he's thinking and not doing ( ... )

Ok, first, I don't think I was all that much of a mystery to you for some reason. I get the feeling that you totally knew this was me and I have no idea how you're able to guess me. You'll have to tell me sometime ( ... )

*grins*

Totally knew it was you. It has you written all over it, pardon the pun.

and AHAHAHA you quoted me back at me! - bwuhahaha!! I thought that would bring a smile to your face. But the quote is so very true and that's why I ♥ your fic so
There are a few things that give you away - obviously that there's Dean/Seamus involved narrows it down - and the Parvati/Colin thing *grin* - taking Seamus to Ireland - but really it's the way you write, construct sentences, these beautiful/lyrical scenes and the heart you put into a story that shines through.

It really is a beautiful story. It's also criminal that it has not been read by more people - in fact looking through the comments to alot of the fics/art - for the 20 or so people that participated - it seems that people have an aversion to commenting or even looking at art/reading fic in a fest in which they participated.

Congrats on a brilliant story. I loved it.
