I think I might have mentioned wanting to get Hermione's Cable and Bobble Hat pattern off of Atypically.knit. Well I did and here's the result of me knitting off and on on it for about a month.

Very nice! That will keep your ears warm all winter I'm sure! make sure you post a picture when you're done! But congratulations on the progress so far! This is really good!

Yes! I love this pattern, though I did kind of mess up...

I used Red Heart Soft Yarn and it REALLY is soft.

I made two Hermione hats in that (white and purple, for charity). It is really soft. But it split like crazy, and irritated my skin after prolonged use. I have unnaturally sensitive skin, though.

what kind of skill level do you think the hat is appropiate for?
