Boston is awesome, I can't wait to go there.
I'm not an entirely sympathetic person, and I upset more boys than girls because of it.
I like Adam.
Harry Potter 5 is better than all other movies.
It's time to go home.

I know I've had like 2999 self-congratulatory updates in the last week, but I just got an email that one of my poems is being published in a literary journal. How cool is THAT?!
I feel like things are really coming together for me, which throws into sharp relief that which I lack.
Pirates reference? Anyone?

Yesterday was the best day of my life.
I'll just give you guys the highlights -
Defended my thesis successfully.
Got to eat dinner made by the bf...while playing sims!
Root-beer coke floats are the bomb.
Got asked to be a bridesmaid for the first time - I'm still excited!!!
Life is so awesome right now.

Today: Prepare for defense
Monday: Go to work, print documents, defend!
Tuesday: Call everyone, go to work
Wednesday: Work
Thursday: Work and then Orlando!

Not really a scintillating update, but I need to remember, and if I write it all down it seems less terrifying.

What a great night! I haven't stayed up all night in forever, but this was totally worth it. I got to see a lot of the people I adore, had some fun, got lost and found, had a slumber party and met the worst waitress of all time. And now i get to snuggle in my bed, and when I wake up - Adam will be home! Life is sweet. Time for bed.

Everyone is getting married.
I'm not bitter, or jealous necessarily, just putting it out there.

I spent all day playing Sims today.
I mean, 9-5.
Like it's my JOB.
It was totally worth it though, and tonight I'm going to be social, and see Jodi in the summer band concert.

I can work tomorrow.
And yes, I'm picturing a rotating diamond above your head right now.
