I love the mornings where I can climb out of bed and actually feel like a person, as opposed to a still-sleepy-and-dead-tired piece of being. Everyone has a different way of "breaking into" a new city (like breaking into a new pair of shoes), and for the past few years my way of breaking into new cities has been running.
