I just thought all my LJ friends should know that I'm having a baby on Thursday. It's going to be a girl :)

My house in Baltimore keeps chugging along. The drywall is up and the cabinets and such are being put in. The contractor expects to have the house finished in four (!) weeks. People have been (rightly) bugging me for pictures of my house in Baltimore, so I created a Flickr set that shows the progress as of this week.
The house is flying along, and should actually be ready for me to move in sometime in September. You're all invited to the house warming, btw ;)

I finally settled on my house today. Construction starts on Monday, and should hopefully be done sometime in November (fingers crossed). It also turns out that the house is in fee simple (as opposed to ground rent) which means I own both the house and the land it sits on, which is not a given in Baltimore.
