Internet Question

Dec 02, 2009 19:49

Since my hotel is going through a remodel, my FOM asked me if I could do some research and find a service provider.
Anyone having good experience with their providers, or really bad service? (We have golden tree, they suck, BTW)
Thank you!

IHG covers our internet, so I have no idea.

But back when I worked for the Carlson location in Houston, we had AT&T. It was pretty decent. Didn't have to call in very often (maybe once or twice a season) to get it worked on. It was great.

Do you work for an express? What's your opinion of the relaunch?

Nah, just the basic HI... we're upgraded to a crowne (Ha, I say...)
With the relaunch of the brand? Ugh. I can't beleive PC signups are mandatory now...

Yea, it's pretty stupid. Most of our guests already have it, and the ones that don't, don't want it.

What area or city are you in? We use different providers in different areas. (I work in Internet tech support for a small family owned chain of hotels.)

Although as a rule if you can avoid Charter, avoid them like the plague.

Good to know, thanks!

We don't have any hotels in California yet. However, we seem to have very few problems with Time Warner at many of our properties and AT&T is good as well.

We have GuesTek and it's a good match for us. Much better than Wayport.
