feeling like retail

Seriously... from what the others were telling me, eye doctors were supposed to be SLOW this time of year. Not us! Man... we were lucky to squeak in some time to eat something for lunch in today, what with all these last minute calls and walk-ins.

Tomorrow better not be as crazy... it's supposed to be a holiday!

Hmm. I can't think of what they're called right now, but maybe they customers had those accounts that you put monies in for medical reasons and you get to do it tax free. And everyone had to use up the monies before the end of year, otherwise they lose it.

Or it could just be everyone finally has Christmas monies for the stuff they've been putting off!

But anyhow, here's hoping for an easy day tomorrow!

Yep, we had the flex spend folks, and the 'OMG I ran out of CL' folks, and the insurance will be ended this year folks, along with eye emergencies and last minute I have money shoppers. ;p

Yeah, apparently this happened earlier today at the vet hospital I work at too! They also said they had no time for lunch and therefore order Dominos! My morning job at the drycleaners started slow but got busy with all the drop-offs of drycleaning, so same thing!

Hah... I hope we did make too many ppl mad on New Years Eve for closing a half hour earlier than what we had posted on the sign. It was slow before that, so we decided to leave. ^^;
