Ooh, I need to get Avatar onto my Netflix list then! :) Just keep Josh away from blue paint or marker pens!

Hey, question - I just upgraded to a 4th gen iPod touch, and I know you were looking at getting an iPod and wondered if you'd be interested in having my previous one?

It's a 32GB 2nd gen one, so it is a little slow on response time - you have to wait a second for it to do things. But it works fine and has no screen scratches. Bit scuffed on the back side, but that shiny ass aluminum is impossible to keep pristine. It also has a belt clip case, wall charger and sync cable, original box and even the original bud earphones which I never used.

I don't the patience for trying to sell things like this on ebay anymore, and I'd rather just find them a new home where someone will get use out of it. So I'd be happy to send it your way if you're interested. Hell, I live in the same damn city, we could probably meet up somewhere and I could hand it to you.

*lol* Josh is still too hung-up on NickJr to notice I have something new on Netflix. Fine with meee... *innocent grin* ... poor kid may go through withdrawal symptoms when I cancel the Uverse TV option.

Oh wow... you're offering your iTouch to me? Are you sure? I can still pay you a small price for it. That would be awesome, all the same. Thank you! :D

Turns out my husband has gotten a iPhone so he can video chat with me too. Hah!

The depreciation they have on these things is crazy. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see what my Samsung MP3 player went for on eBay, and the majority started out asking only $10 for it! I had paid $145 dollars for it in 2007. :p

Do you live in the Broadripple area now?

I'm planning on using Netflix and maybe a Hulu subscription with the hi speed dsl to fulfill my tv interests. Already have the Netflix but have been so busy I haven't tried streaming anything yet ( ... )

Yeah.. sometimes it is better to just pass it on rahter than try to sell. I've also been going back and forth over my kids baby stuff too. Trying to decide with things I could do better selling, and which I would just donate to someone in need. ^^

Oh yeah, I think I heard about that condo apartment downtown, back when I used to work down there on the Circle. Really must be something else to live in for you indeed!

Do you want to meet up sometime? My scedhule is crazy during the school year, and my work hours are nutty too. If all else fails on trying to meet in person during December/January, I guess you could mail it to me too. Up to you! :D

I whole heartily approve of the watching of the Avatar series. :D Though actually, I think that if you're relatively new to the series I'd watch the movie first, it's clearly based off the series but...kind of does it own thing at points. Plus, not as good. :p

But yeah, Avatar is awesome. There are some episodes that are really quite beautiful with the lessons in them. ^_^

Hee... y'know, I thought of you when I saw this come out on Netflix (FMA is also available there too). The funny thing, I didn't think twice about Avatar at the time it first came out. I guess I thought it was "just another anime"... and that, of course, I didn't have cable tv at the time so I couldn't see it.

But I have to agree with the critics... I am amazed at how good the characters and the story is. And the humor, omg! I was just rolling when Appa snorted green snot all over Sakka. That poor kid. XD (Josh loves that part too)

BTW... did you make those icons? I have been seeking some good ones, but to no avail. :(

Hahah, yeah. I remember when my sister first told me about Avatar, I was not very impressed with her description of it. But then I saw an episode and my opinion changed. :) What episode are you on, btw? I think of all of season 1, The Blue Spirit was my favorite.

Sokka's luck is rather bad. XD But he's funny that way.

I know I've made some screen shots of my own from the series, but everything I have can be found here, http://piandao.org/avatars/. Oooh, oh! Piandao is a character you probably haven't met yet (he shows up for a little bit in season 3) but pay attention to his voice, you may recognize it from another movie. ;)

At the time I got this, I was halfway through Book 2. Now I just started into Book 3. I'm just totally geeking out on this series! XD ( ... )
