He's still in the e.r., and will probably stay there for a while. The X-ray didn't show as much heart failure as they'd expected, but it did show a mass in his abdomen which is most likely cancer. Adding tests and a potential tumor-removing surgery is going to up the price to the $7,000-$8,000 range. They're talking to me about euthanasia. He was

Cats can be very good at soldiering on despite problems (dogs are crybabies!).
I know you love him. But please don't vet-bill yourself into penury. You've given him a wonderful kitty life.
