He's still in the e.r., and will probably stay there for a while. The X-ray didn't show as much heart failure as they'd expected, but it did show a mass in his abdomen which is most likely cancer. Adding tests and a potential tumor-removing surgery is going to up the price to the $7,000-$8,000 range. They're talking to me about euthanasia. He was fine yesterday. How the hell did this happen?
