The door might have been open, but Ender? Still knocking.

He was just checking by to see how Tony was settling in - he had a feeling the answer would be 'reasonable', but it never hurt to check. "Hey."

"What are you working on?" Ender asked. If he was ruffled by the distracted reaction, it certainly wasn't obvious; he walked into the room with a neutral-but-interested expression on his face.

"Just a few additions to a project I've been working on," Tony said, torn between thinking the plans were too advanced for Ender to read and the urge to cling and hide it in a completely suspicious manner.

Jack had gone out after class for a run, which explained why he wasn't wearing attire entirely appropriate for the cold. "Hey." He tossed his phone and key onto his bed. "Settling in okay?"

"Huh?" Focus, Tony. "Yeah. If you ignore the chemistry teacher blowing people up."

He flopped on his bed. "Think she'll start blowing up students who don't do their homework?" It was a valid question.

"Jack!" Bobby's running footsteps could be heard before he appeared in the doorway. "Have you started working on your chemistry homework yet? How big an -"

He stopped short as he noticed not-Jack working on a laptop. "Uh, hi? You're not Jack who looks different now, right? Like the girl thing?"

"Girl thing?" Look, his big sibling hadn't been the most forthcoming about these things, so just bear with him.

"...does that mean you are Jack or not?" Bobby asked. "Cause if you are and you finally forgot about that time I turned into a girl...that would be cool."

"Tony," he responded, staring more because there was no rational explanation for people who are guys being girls. "Jack's roommate."

After an odd class on pacifism, Bruce was making his way back to his room when he decided to stop by and check in on one of the new people he'd met at the picnic.

No, it wasn't one of the girls. No, really. (And yes, he snuck a peak at the room assignments and had made a mental note of some of the rooms, which is why he knew where to stop.)

Bruce didn't knock as he arrived at the door. Hey, the door was open. "It's been a couple days. Have you adjusted better yet?"

"My chemistry teacher blew someone up today," Tony replied, glancing up from his laptop. "I'm going to assume that's not normal."

"Kukaku Shiba, right?" Bruce asked. "That's normal for her."
