When will you be teaching/working full time again? Sounds like a case of idle time falling into the devils hands. I go nuts when I don't have enough to do.

Do I ever understand what you are talking about with Huxley. Bert nosedived down Healthy Mountain to the Valley of Old in about six months. It was terrible to watch, but your assessment of him is still positive. No pain. Enjoying himself. Let him sleep and snuggle and be Old Huxley. Some of the best memories I have with Bert are of spending time with him in his sunset years/months.

Money. Ugh. I'm feeling a big crunch right now as well. Everything is going on credit, which I HATE, but if we're going to be moving in 6 weeks I have to have enough actual cash to pay deposits etc. I hate money. And the holidays are not even upon us yet!

not until eloise starts school FT. ideally, i'd like to work 25-30 hours a week, like i was doing in the summer. for me it's ideal; i get to work and avoid stagnation while also seeing my kid more than 3 hours a day (super important to me). i know, idle time is evil. i think it's true for most people. for all the bitching people do about not having enough time, i find that the less time i have, the more i can accomplish.

i know you do, which is at once sad and comforting. i'm trying to just let him be and enjoy our days together.

did you find a place yet? moving is the pits. between the money the packing the moving and the unpacking, moving is right up there on the list of ultimate stressors.
