eloise hates being strapped into her stroller. we made a pact that i won't use top straps and will only buckle one bottom side strap. this morning we had a date with hot chocolate and a couple friends. on the corner of 14th and 5th, the stroller wheels couldn't power through 8 inches of motor slush, and she flew face first into a cold dirty puddle ( Read more... )

that hot chocolate sounds atrocious.

I like when people get pissed when I'm taking a long time buckling Dan into the car seat(so taking up the parking space next to me), getting him out, or putting him in the cart(with the cart cover, which I only use now because it has a working seat belt). Or running up my ass when I'm trying to checkout. They can suck it.

Dan gives unsolicited hugs now. Melts my heart everytime.

Do you put the punctuation marks outside quotes in some other language?

it was...interesting.

such behavior exhibits blatant disregard for others and it makes me want to slap a bitch.

russian is logic based. staying closer to home however, uk and canadian english punctuation and quotations usage is more logic based, the same way that exclamation points and questions marks are logic based in american english. always placing commas and periods inside quotations marks is just...weird.
