Okay, so I am working up to a fic I've been thinking about for a while, based on a request made in an earlier post. Problem is, it's going to probably involve a hospital, and my experience with hospitals is severely limited. I don't want to base it off media I've seen or cliches--that does me no good and gives me nothing to work with. Does anyone

I probably have a better idea of what goes on in a rehab hospital, than in a hospital-hospital, but I'm sure one isn't too far off from the other. Happy to try to answer any specific questions you have. As for actual resources, that's a tough one to locate because the reality will almost always be skewed depending on who's doing the reporting. Administration will always lighten things up and omit the "bad" stuff, some patients and families think doctors and nurses walk on water while others consider them demon spawn! Haha. You might, however, want to look at some blogs from people's hospital stays - might offer some additional insight. PM me if you have specifics, or at least a slightly more directed general question. I'll totally take you up on that! And checking blogs is a good idea, and I wish I'd thought of it. XD I'm thinking I might be able to work around at least some of the problems, but there are going to be issues of setting and possibly daily activities that I might need some insight on.
