What do you mean abuse? Disney songs are mean to be sing ALL THE TIME outandproudboy December 11 2010, 02:46:43 UTC
Blaine was used to singing. for people, to people, to himself...that was the live of a singer, and he was the lead one in his Glee club. But not anymore, he remind himself. That was in his world and now all of that was gone, the warblers were no more, and the whole Dalton Academy was just a memory.

He was worried that all was going to be like his life before Dalton. Like his old school, where people made his life miserable because he didn't fit on what they called 'normality'. But much to his relief, the villagers where nice, even too nice, and helped him to adapt to his new situation. Blaine still had his moments of panic and he still worried about his family and friends, but he he could deal with this. He had to.

Which lead back to the singing, because that was a constant theme now. it was annoying to have to sign ALL the time, so he started carrying around a notepad with him. He couldn't stop himself from humming songs, sadly, even when he was trying to focus on the people and looking for that girl he met, Anathema.

....this is true. Can we abuse Lion King then? :> thebooksaysso December 11 2010, 08:17:09 UTC
She almost didn't hear the humming at first. She probably would have walked right on past him if he'd been much quieter, but she stopped briefly, glanced curiously across the way. The uniform was definitely different from the clothing everyone else seemed to be wearing in town, so that was one good sign. It even looked vaguely like one of her old school uniforms, but he hadn't sounded English over the computer.

She slipped a little as she took off jogging, still unused to snow, and waved to get his attention.

"Hullo? Mr. Blaine? I'm looking for someone to share my pain." And wasn't that the truth right now....with a small huff she continued. "I'm looking for someone who understands how I feel, someone who can keep it real.... Is it you?"

"All of the things that I want to say just aren't coming out right. I'm tripping inwards..." Blaine replied and smiled a bit sheepishly. He recognized the girl's voice easily, he had good memory when it came to that. Blaine was lucky that she could tell it was him because obviously he was not paying enough attention to the people singing around him. He offered her his hand, politely.

"You and me and all of the people, with nothing to do, nothing to prove. And I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off of you." The last part wasn't something he was about to say to a girl he just met, but he couldn't stop himself.

"That's...." Oh. Well. Whether it was something he meant to say or not, she was just glad that her face was already red from the cold. Anathema took his hand regardless, noting with a frown just how cold his fingers were.

"Come," she started, just barely managing to keep the musical tone out of her voice as she started to tug him along. "We'll get you warm first."
