Unfortunately, Discedo, I seem to have very little to offer regarding pleasant conversation topics, so have another riddle or two, instead~

1 | Two fathers and two sons sat down to eat eggs for breakfast. They ate exactly three eggs, each person had an egg. How is this possible?

2 | Three lawyers rent a hotel room for the night. When they get ( Read more... )

you do not see the mood, in limbo, not trolling for once, proxyless, lack of plot moment, missing tv so damn much, hee hee~, it's finally getting to him

I suppose it can't hurt to try...

1) Umm, I'm not sure...
2) There was... a fourth lawyer? Somehow...
3) Three! [Yay, I got one!]
4) ... How big is the basket?
5) 1... Then you get- oh! Once!
6) ... Eeeh? I don't understand, if it happens every minute how can it only be once a year?
7) These are really tricky...
8) A cloud!
9) What's the U.S.?
10) [... Wonders if Kurogane would tell her his weight] I'm not sure.

3 and 5 are correct. Look at your reasoning for 5 as a clue for 4. As for the others... let's just say abstract thinking goes a long way~

Also, the U.S. is a developed country on the planet Earth. I suppose it may be slightly unfair to ask those that are not to answer.

1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 10 are correct. Though the answer to 8 is generally answered correctly as "age", time also works.

As for U.S. currency... a dollar is a paper bill representing 100 cents, and 'change' refers to coins that represent 1, 5, 10, and 25 cents. In other words, what is the highest sum one can make from values of 1, 5, 10, and 25 without the sum of any combination within making an even 100.

And for 7, it revolves around a technicality on how it is written.

1. I've heard this one before, except it was about fish. It wouldn't be fair to answer.

2. Well, if you work the puzzle backwards, the total is twenty five dollars they paid, so really they paid 9 and a third dollars. It's just the way the math is set up, isn't it?

3. Three of course!

4. Give me a minute on this one...

5. Well, five if you're speaking literally.

6. [...] Two? As in the "2nd" second, "2nd" day and "two"sday, and "2nd" month in a year? [Wild guess is wild]

7. I haven't a clue.

8. Let me think on this one, as well.

9. I'm afraid I don't know U.S. currency very well.

10. Well, meat of course!

I changed my mind about 7, would if be if you literally cut 12 in half?

2, 3, and 10 are correct. 4 and 5 follow similar logical reasoning. As for 7, expand a bit on what you mean.

And please! Take your time!

Well, I suppose you could put however many eggs in your basket or subtract from 30 as many times as you like, really, if I understand what you're saying.

As for seven , i mean if you were to write it out on a piece of paper, cut it diagonally so that you cut off the one and the top of the two. Flip it upside down and you get a seven, right?

Oh! Haha, and six is the letter E of course! I don't know why I didn't see it sooner!
