Tonight's new tempo marking, offered free of charge and without prejudice to any member of any section of any of the three choruses in tomorrow's performance who stands in need of it (of whom there were, alas, far too many):

Poco a poco più guardando il maledetto conduttore!

I'll be there tomorrow night, and I'm bringing a couple of friends. We'll be up in the first balcony, on the left side.

Excellent! My griping notwithstanding, it should be a good performance. I'll keep an eye out for you to the extent allowed by being on stage trying not to look too terribly unprofessional, on which subject our director is a bit of a terror (audience left, I presume?). If you have the time and energy after the show, come around to the stage door and say hi! (I don't know where it is either, but if you're with karakara98, she has my number and stuff.) The choir bus is leaving somewhat immediately after curtain, but I'm planning not to be on it, because I want to see people while I'm there.

Yup, I'll be with karakara98, plus sen_no_ongaku and sigerson.

Does that mean "little by little more watching the damn conductor"? Heh.

Wish I could be there.

Bingo! You would enjoy it. The percussionists are having a ball. :-)

Yeah, it's a tough piece. I'm hoping adrenaline will improve people's attentiveness. (This is not unlikely.)
Thanks! I hope we don't need too much of it, and I certainly hope to!

*laughs* Good call. And can you translate that to Russian, so I can put it in my choir's Rachmaninoff scores?

Break a leg! But not a real one!
