J is wonderful saying that I've always hated doing accounting and I should use this time to figure out what I want to do to make me happy. I haven't a clue and it's driving me nuts trying to figure out how to find a job that I'd actually enjoy.

My MIL and her friend left early this morning and J left to go back to NYC to prepare for a training class. I've spent all morning in my pajamas watching the So You Think You Can Dance Marathon on MTV and have eaten junk all day long. I'm gross (caveat: I might not have showered all day, but I have brushed my teeth). Yeah, I'm gross.

Not much to report, winter is finally passing and flowers are starting to bloom - so's my mood. After my m/c J took me to Florida to warm my bones and get away from it all. I just watched the film "Once" and thought it was beautiful. It was a simple story of a man playing his guitar meets a woman on the street that is listening to his music. He later finds she plays the piano and they come together to play a song. They become friends and become involved with one another's lives. She encourages him to record his music ( Read more... )

While walking to meet J at his CUNY assignment in NYC I passed a place where a long line started to form and saw that it was a Bon Appetite Supper Club event. I don't know if I ever talked about a fishing trip we went on with some friends who have a home in Manteo. I caught my first fish as an adult, learned to bait it myself, cast it and unhook it.
