Semi-open RP down by the lake.Lily stood in a small clearing by the lake and looked at her handiwork. Trees were strung with fairy lights, there was a large, enchanted bonfire complete with salamanders (though, to be honest, the salamanders hadn't been intentional), and there were several tables and chairs about the area, each with it's own

"Everything looks wonderful! I'll just run back to Slythendor and get Harry and we'll be back in a few moments. Oh! He's just going to love this. You've done a wonderful job, Lily, and the cake is spectacular!"
She ran back to Slythendor as quickly as she could, hoping Harry was there and dressed so they could return to the party before the guests started arriving.

"Is this, is this all for me?"

Pulling back a little she looked at him, laughing, "Of course it's for you, love. Not every day a Wizard turns eighteen, yeah? Got to spoil you a bit." She smiled softly at him, brushing a bit of his hair away from his forehead and straightening his sweatshirt. She'd deny the fact that a tear might have fallen. Finally, stepping away from him, she grinned. "Most of this is Ginny's doing. You've got a brilliant girl, there, son. Don't forget that."

When Lily stepped away she gave Harry a tight hug as well. But she couldn't possibly take as much credit as Lily was giving her. "Oh, no! We planned it together! You're mum's a great party planner, Harry, and we had a lot of fun doing it. Did you see the great cake she made you?"

"It's a tie. Wizards wear dress shirts sometimes, right? When they're not wearing robes? Or under them?"
If Ron had been allowed to open the box -- which he wouldn't be, because it was all giftwrapped up -- he might not have seen anything strange about the tie, depending on what sorts of Muggle artifacts Arthur Weasley was known to bring home.

"Anyway, ignore me, Prima. I'd bet Harry'll think it's wild. Want I should put it with the other presents?" He gently tried to take the box from her grip.

"Hullo," he said to the group at large.

He'd invited Seto to come as well, of course, but Seto hadn't wanted to and Ryuuji knew better than to argue every little thing with Seto. If he did that, it just meant that Seto wouldn't listen to him when it was important.
So instead, he and Mokuba were there. Double trouble, packaged in golden skin, dark hair, and impish grins.

Lily spotted Ryuuji and Mokuba, vaguely recognizing them from Anthony's Herbology grading class. She wandered over and grinned at them both. "Hullo, I'm Lily. I don't think we've met."

It wasn't terribly fancy but it was still well-made. Ed had made it alchemically and he was always a stickler for detail when it came to that.

"Hello," she grinned at him. "No punch, you'll notice. Thank you for coming, Ed!" Glancing at the present, she said, "That's beautiful, mate. Where did you get it?"
