Everyone claims that for the most part, my counter parts from other dimensions are anti-social and emotionally cut off. And yet they seem to have a never ending list of partners.

Oh, antisocial and emotionally unavailable, but stubborn and a joy to work with. My best friend, in fact.

Hm, what universe are you from? It sounds like you're from the same one as the second and third Robin and Oracle.

Well, since I do recognize Red Hood, I'll have to say that I'm from that universe, most likely. You're so young, Bruce, it's good to see you this way. How's Alfred?

YOU must be the young man from Earth Prime. There are infinite Earths, kiddo. It's just the way things are. Infinite possiblities require it. I ... might very well be.

I guess you've already heard about me? But there shouldn't be! All of the other earths were erased from history, along with everyone who lived in them.

Terry told me that you were here. And that it would probably be less confusing if I call you Jon. Agreeable? I should certainly hope not! Killing on that level, that would be... unspeakable.

Just so we're clear, the green kryptonite kills. The gold kryptonite is some sort of power-sucker. And the red kryptonite transforms you into this 'grrr' guy.

Right?

You're correct on the effects of green and gold kryptonite, but red kryptonite does more than that. It causes random effects that usually last for 24-48 hours, some times 72.

How do you know so much about kryptonite?

It's a hobby of mine.

And wow, I sound like a super villain.

You DO. Are you by any chance a balding redhead named Alexander? I thought not.

There are a few other varieties as well, but we prefer not to talk about those. The Black and the White are particularly nasty. I don't even want to think about what the pink does.

I made a promise to Squib anyone even remotely related to the Bat-family. However, you seem almost sane for being a superhero. Offer me a better bribe and I'll sort you into Gryffindor

Data has listened to Superman answer the questions with a typically calm, neutral expression. His thoughts, however, were far from peaceful: assessing humans has always been difficult for him.

Except for hostility. He's really good at picking up on hostility.

Finally he ventures forth.

"I believe ...Superman..." (he wasn't quite sure if it was a name or a title) "that you fit best with Hufflepuff."

A beat, and then something occured to him.

"I can explain my reasoning, if you require it."

"I'll confess I am curious. Don't know if I'd say I 'require' it, though! I'd be delighted to hear what you have to say, either way. If it makes you more comfortable, call me Kal."

((Am I safe in assuming Supes is in full regalia? And remember, Data doesn't know you from Adam and has no reason to; he's got whole encyclopedias in his head but his cultural literacy has always been somewhat lacking, and what he has learned he's picked up mostly from Picard, as far as I can tell. And Picard don't read no DC. He's more of a Marvel fan"As I understand it, the traditional attributes of the four Houses are as follows: Gryffidor is courage and morality, Ravenclaw is intelligence and academia, Hufflepuff is loyalty and hard work, and Slytherin is cunning and the hunger for power. Based on your responses to the questions, I believe that Ravenclaw or Slytherin's attributes to not appear to exist in any significant amount, and while you appear quite moral, it is not a dominant quality compared to your loyalty to your wife and your willingness to work on the behalf of others ( ... )

((I love Data. xD Clark is like, 'Roffle no signifigant intelligence!'))

Clark laughed, and ran a hand through his hair. "I guess that I am pretty loyal and hard-working. That's not a bad thing at all, in fact! I think that's something to be proud of, in fact. That's the kind of things my parents taught me back on the farm."

See, Clark is relieved to hear that, actually. Even now, he worries about the whole abuse-of-power thing, because he knows he has so much of it.
