Disgusting, but delicious. I grew up on a farm in Kansas, and when my Ma would make apple pie, I got into this awful habit of experimenting with it to try and make it more interesting. With American cheese and milk was the most successful (and worked out a lot better than the version with orange juice and vanilla yogurt), and it's sort of stuck with me for sentimental reasons.
I like apple pie by itself, too! And with ice cream.

Well, it still sounds like something a pregnant woman would eat, but I can't fault you for being creative. And you seem like a nice fellow, so I'll vote you into Gryffindor with the rest of the superhero crowd.
((Hurray! I can't actually describe how happy I am to see a non-angsty superhero, and the Big Blue Boy Scout himself in particular. Don't even get me started on the dark 'n' broody "Superman Returns" movie ads. Oh, and, er, there's a T where there should be a D in your bar name. Just a heads-up.))
...
Gryffindor. In fact, I think you may actually be the quintessence of that house, next to Godric himself.
...You're very cheerful, aren't you? And you wear spandex, so that makes you sound like a Gryffindor, really.
Though that myth is a scary one.
Hm. *head tilt* We already have a gameskeeper, and I don't think that I really need any favors, but could you tell me more about your planet, please? I'm always interested in foreign cultures.
I wish I could tell you about Krypton from the standpoint you probably wish I could. I don't remember it, because it was destroyed, but I've learned a lot from the information my parents sent with me. It's a fascinating place. The language is surprisingly simple, too. The culture was very technologically advanced, and most of the planet's energy came from the various types of mineral ore there. I'm pretty certain it was something like a mining community among the lower-middle classes. What would you like to know?
There's just so much to talk about, I don't know where to start. I've been learning about my heritage by reading about it.
*head tilt, light grin* Okay, well, what do you find most interesting about it? For example, you mentioned the language was simple, and I'm something of a linguist, so that sounds fascinating to me. How does it work?
The alphabet is probably the most simple part. It has twenty-six characters, like English, but while each stands for a phonetic sound each one also has a base symbolic meaning. Written, the language is very easy to translate, because it's made of consonents and vowels. Spoken... to be honest, it sounds like a mixture between Russian and Korean, if you can imagine that. By stringing the characters together in proper sequence, you can either spell out a Kryptonian word with the consonent and vowel-sounds or you can rely on the twenty-six core image-meanings to create compound thoughts, which form entirely different words.
So, maybe it's not that simple. But it SEEMS simple. Reading is pretty easy.
