Hufflepuff. I'd like a copy of Candide, if you have one.
You weren't ever in your country's military, were you?

No, not really. I've been with the force all my life.

And, yes, I do have Candide. *hands it over*

Enforcing the law, spying on students in wine shops, you sound quite interesting. I'm thinking Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Do you have a preference?

((OOC: Yay!))

I will confess, I had Gryffindor on my mind when this was filled out. There's something about the morality of their ideology that appeals greatly to me.

Well, that and oldoneofrlyeh's comment that there are too many drunks in Ravenclaw. *grins*

It's a pleasure to meet you here, Miss (is that the English term?) Tonks.

Well, then Gryffidor shall be my vote Inspector. I'm sure you'll be a credit to the school.

That's your house, is it not? I look forward to meeting you there, should that be the Hat's verdict.

Gryffindor

I'll take a few of those books since you're offering.

((LOVE!))

What sort would you be interested in? I've still got a bit of Voltaire, and *eyes widen* who stuck that in there?! That's certainly not mine, nope, never...

I'll have that, then. I'm not familiar with the classics here so I'll be willing to read whatever you can spare.

Consider it yours. *holds out collection of Robespierre's speeches by the tips of his fingers*

That is decidedly not neccesary. Thank you anyway Monsieur. Enjoy your sorting. I look foreward to see you around Slytherin if the hat places you there.

I'm leaning towards Gryffindor for you, sir? Do you have any spandex in your wardrobe? And what sort of books are you offering as your bribe?

You're French, right? Got any croissants?

m_the_inspector February 28 2006, 03:34:01 UTC
Not with me, but there's a bakery just up the street. I could pick a few up for you after work, if you'd like.

That would be good! You like to uphold the law, right? A lot of police people are in Ravenclaw. Are you a hero or are you actually ambitious and cunning? I hope it's the latter. Heroes are getting SO boring!

Hee! Your icon makes you look as though you've a balloon for a head!
