Unlike Elphaba, Fiyero roused far less quickly, blanket pulled over his face so he was oblivious to the changes around him... and to him. It was only when he finally rolled over on his stomach that he roused, reaching under himself to pull out the kitten he had just rolled on, or so he thought in his half-asleep state. His fingers connected with the lump under his chest, but no fur met his touch, only soft material and more... softness. With a yelp, he shot upright in the bed, blinking down at himself to clear his vision ( ... )

"Not good..." Elphaba was pacing now in Fiyero's room, trying to think of some way out of this. If she was brave she could try to find her way to her room, perhaps one of the books she had taken from the libary might be of some use. It took her a good five minutes to work up the courage to go try to find her way to her room, but when she was halfway to the door she shivered. It was cooler than she normally like it in the room, and she wrapped her arms around herself, surprised at how strong the embrace felt the bare skin of her chest ( ... )

On the walk to Gryffindor, Fiyero found himself looking down at the body he was in with equal parts disbelief and complete relief. He had found her, however accidental this switch was, and now all he had to do was find his body and hope she was in it. Answers to all of his questions could come after that, after they had put themselves to rights again and finally he could look upon her after the years spent searching. Right now, that he could look down and technically see her did not count, as he wanted Elphaba as a whole.

Grateful that only knowledge of the password to Gryffindor was necessary, he darted into the portrait hole and rushed through the common room and up the stairs, paying no attention to anyone he passed. When he at last stopped in front of his door, it was pulled open as he reached for it and he froze, staring at the sight of his own body in front of him. So many things to say but none of them were coming to him right now, both at seeing his own body without his consciousness attached to it and at knowing she was in

The soft gasp that came from Elphaba sounded much different when Fiyero's vocal cords were the ones making it. She was shocked to see...well...her standing there. A deep blush came to her face when she saw what her body was wearing, a night gown with a blanket wrapped around her. It was all that she could do to keep the pronouns straight. Clearly she was in a male form right now, but she still thought like a woman, and Fiyero (for if it was a stranger and NOT Fiyero who was in her body just now she didn't know what she would do) was still a man even though he was in her female body. Quite confusing indeed ( ... )

Fiyero was all too happy to come into his room, though he was intrigued by what a blush actually looked like on his face and focused on that for a moment. It reminded him once again he still was wearing only a nightgown and blanket, so he moved quickly to the wardrobe and pulled out his bathrobe, putting it on with the belt tied tight and the collar carefully folded over the neckline of the nightgown. Slightly better ( ... )
