Semi-closed RP: Gryffindor Tower

“Mmmmph…” Elphaba frowned, turning over in bed. Something wasn’t right, somehow sunlight was streaming in, hitting her in the face. She still wanted to sleep. Then she sat up in bed, startled. There hadn’t been a window there last night to let the sunlight through at that angle. The entire room was wrong, there were less books here than in her room, the window, the bed, everything was different. This was NOT a good sign.

She reached out to throw the covers off of her legs, but she froze when she saw the hand in front of her. She put the hand directly before her eyes, wiggling the very white fingers so that she could see for certain that they were indeed connected to a very white arm. For one brief, brilliant moment she was certain that overnight her research had paid off, that she had accidentally discovered a cure for her green skin, but then she caught sight of the strong, masculine lines of the hand.

She sighed, a sound that closely resembled a growl. Elphaba was used to failure in this regard, she had tried different ways to fade into the crowd her entire life, and when she found herself at Hogwarts, she knew she had found the place where she could find the cure. Her green skin was a disease, a curse, and she was hell-bent on finding its antidote. She had tried, and failed, more things than she could think of with only limited success. Thus far she had only been able to manage a concealment charm for brief amounts of time to make it to and from the library to get more books, and even then sometimes she struggled to hide her green skin the entire time.

She slung her legs over the side of the bed, a sight which only reinforced the fact that she was in a man’s body. The legs were longer than hers, the feet different, everything was odd. It felt odd, walking across the room to look for a mirror, as though her entire sense of balance was thrown off. Finally she found a mirror in the unfamiliar room, and her reflection startled her, making her gasp softly.

Not him. Anyone but him. He wasn’t even here, at least, she hadn’t seen him yet. She couldn’t’ be…he couldn’t be…but the room was his, she had a gut feeling that it was, it certainly wasn’t hers!

“How did I …why of all people…” She questioned, hands going up to touch the foreign face as she watched it speak in the mirror. “Did end I up in Fiyero Tiggular’s body?” She glanced apprehensively at the door. Should she try to go find someone to fix this? Was Fiyero in her body then? She didn’t even know who to go to. She had been so busy avoiding everyone for fear of being stared at as the green girl that she had made no friends. No one could explain what had happened to her. She sat on the bed, trying to think of what to do.
