It.
How can I describe this.
The first paragraph drew me in, to begin.
And I could see it. Like...see this. In my mind. Broken up NEWS, and completely bitter, lost Koyama. And you captured that worn out broken shell that could have happened. And this story wasn't some fluffy, happy thing, which pleased me as well. Because life isn't like that...and I certainly cannot think of what an idol's life could be. But...for some reason...I feel like you dipped into that.
I especially loved the quote "Has it? I can't tell anymore. It just feels like a long forever." My heart clenched at that. It spoke of complete exhaustion behind the fake bright smiles we see day to day.
I also think you captured both Shige's and Ryo's personalities well.
Gah I can't think of what else to say. This was simply amazing. ♥

That line happens to be one of my favorites as well. As much as they can be silly and dorky and fun and boys, at some point there comes a time when you just get tired of performing.
Again, thank you for your comment and reading. ♥

Koyama in this, the first part mostly, all angry and hopeless, broke my heart. It's just so wrong for Koyama to be like that!! I did like that he became a grown up, just as all of them, that they don't seem or act or talk like boys like we're so use to see them in fics (and interviews and everywhere else, too), because I love the boys being boys, but I also like grown up stories from time to time!
I also loved how Koyama and Shige found their friendship again, because they are family, really, and there are those kind of relationship that you can go back to easily. I also liked that that wasn't the case for Koyama and Pi, because what they had wasn't good enough to go back to, and you addressed that perfectly! (And with Jin's help, of all people, which was also awesome ( ... )

LOL I'm sorry for being coherent? XD I modeled my writing style on the way he writes, but I'm afraid the randomness didn't get in there. I like to think maybe he matured past that? *snicker*

That was really important to me actually, because life is not always sunshine and roses and not everything can be fixed. Sometimes, you just have to start over. I'm glad that worked for you as well. :)
Going back to the main couple, gods, how everything came to be and how they lost five years like that, it was so freakin' sad. You managed to explain very well how both of them were feeling at the time, why did the miss-communication happened. You did a great job describing their emotions and making us understand, it was all ( ... )

I think ending it with Pi's usual writing on Seventeen is briliant.
I love how Shige and Ryo are like a perfet cupids and conscience for the pair.
Shige taking Kei to Johnny's shop is so cute.

*giggle* Shige didn't purposely take Koyama to the JE shop, but you know how these things work. Unconsciously he was led there. ;)
Thanks for reading!
