Very nice! Today my bum is covered by just-plain-pants, though. But, hell--Poetic License!

Sadly, no. Nor have I time to make any. I do have a lot of scarves, a (really too hot to wear in ChicagoJuly) long velvet skirt, and a flowy top that might very well be too booby for a children's event. I suppose if I drape the scarves strategically...

yay get to see you in two days! YAY!

I hope that in between the chaosbusy you'll have fun too! It's been funny watching my Harry Potter obsessed labmate get more and more antsy as Saturday approaches.

*runs in more panicky circles*

I'm actually not as excited about the actual book as I was last time around--not sure why. I'm sure tomorrow will be fine and fun in parts, too. The best part is handing the books over to the kids. I wish we had a picture of poor little 2-year-old Benny, passed out in the hallway with his head on his big sister's copy of the book.

Breathe, breathe.

Your Harry Potter thing sounds fun! Shame you have to work and all the stress may leave little time for enjoying yourself. But the whole teenage horoscopes thing!! Lol! That's sounds like a scream! Go! Play with their heads! And a Prisoner of Azkaban play?!?! Wow! Fun! My friend (who's the drummer in our band) auditioned for the part of Moaning Myrtle in the films, and got a call back. I think she was too pretty for the part. :D

Hmm. Just thinking about when I get the book. My mum is buying a copy for us but I'll probably buy my own when I leave for uni again. I'm going to have to save some of the book to read to my little bro to entertain him at the Game Fair! Last year we sat in the back of the lorry amongst the paintings and the bubblewrap and I read Order of the the Phoenix to him! Was fun!

Okay, gotta go. My eyes are so tired today.

Debbie's play is really good. It's not being fully staged, just a dramatic reading, but she said it was really well done. She wrote it almost three years ago, and we were planning to stage it for the OotP release, but she got a cease and desist order from Warner Brothers. I was going to play... Let's see... Aunt Marge, and I think Trelawney, and Madame Rosemarta. Her adaptation is much more focused on Lupin than the movie was, and really picks up the theme of disability and stigma that was almost totally lost in the movie, along with that wonderful bond that he and Harry share that I also feel didn't quite make it into the movie. The scene where Lupin leaves at the end is heartbreaking in Debbie's version ( ... )
