My upstairs neighbors are arguing (have been, in the evenings at least, for a few days now). I can't hear everything that's being said loudly, but I've heard enough f-bombs, plus a few instances of "Go ahead! Pandora should probably take a closer look at whatever it's using to sort tracks/artists for its genre stations... Marilyn Manson is not industrial. Nor are Rob Zombie, Tool, or Rammstein. -

Work is having us read Speed of Trust, which is turning out to be a decent book. However, it includes quotes from Joe Paterno and Rupert Murdoch. Painfully prescient quotes, in hindsight. -

I found a yummy-looking recipe for Tomato Basil Parmesan Soup (though I'd use diced fresh tomatoes)... but it calls for half and half, which I shouldn't have due to lactose sensitivity. Any suggestions for an alternative that won't leave me on the toilet for an hour?

Some of you on my flist may remember that we found out my dad had cancer about four and a half years ago. Well, he passed away yesterday morning, at the age of 62.

First of all: for those of you with paid accounts, please check to see if autopay is turned on! Many people are reporting that although they'd turned autopay off in the past, or never had it on in the first place, their accounts are now set to autopay. This is, for obvious reasons, Not Cool.
